History & Returns
The Stadium Group of Investors was started in 1968 as the Mock, Roos and Associates, Inc. Employee Profit Sharing Trust, and operated under that name until 2006. The Trust acted as the real estate investment division of Mock•Roos, a civil engineering and surveying firm located in West Palm Beach, Florida. Documented historical returns for the portfolio averaged 18.4% annually from 1968 to 2006. While such successful returns are not a guarantee of future earnings, they do point to a time-tested and proven long-term strategy.
Mock•Roos was started in 1954, providing project management and construction drawings for many types of development projects. The projects range from commercial and industrial properties to mixed-use projects, including multi-family apartment buildings and residential golf course communities consisting of thousands of acres. This experience progressed to the formation of the real estate trust, through which Mock•Roos and its staff could invest profits and equity into development projects and other avenues of the real estate market.
Over time, Mock•Roos has formed many long-term relationships with other companies and people in the real estate industry through business associations, joint ventures, and partnerships. One of those firms is Stadium Realty, which was founded by Tom McGillicuddy, CCIM, a real estate broker with over 25 years of experience in commercial properties and vacant land for residential development. Another firm is Four Corners, a holding LLC founded by David S. Rinker, an investor and broker with extensive experience in real estate since 1993.
Because these firms, several private individual investors, and BusinessImage – a marketing and graphic design group – have organized to team with the Trust, its name and business model were changed in 2006 to The Stadium Group of Investors. This more accurately reflects the strategic affiliation, which is strongly positioned to draw on each firm’s area of expertise, and to continue the Trust’s long and successful tradition of pursuing investment opportunities in commercial and residential real estate.
